Volunteer registration is online: click CCOF Volunteer Registration to volunteer. You can choose your preferred date, then complete the registration information. When you register online to volunteer, a confirmation email will be sent directly to you with the address of the build, safety tips, and other relevant information, including a waiver of liability form.
Information for Construction Workers
When you sign up online, you will receive an email confirmation with everything you need to know to get ready for your scheduled work day; what to bring, what to wear, weather issues, etc. Closed toe shoes are required!
Due to liability reasons, volunteers must be at least 16 years old to be a construction volunteer. Workers who are 16 or 17 years old must have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver form and must have an adult who is legally responsible for them present on the worksite.
Click Youth for information regarding youth volunteers.
Each volunteer must sign a waiver of liability each day that they help build. You can click on Waiver Form for a copy. The completed form must be brought with you to the construction site. If you sign up online, your waiver form will be taken care of electronically through the registration process.
You can also contact the Steering Committee to volunteer for areas other than the build site or if you have additional questions.
