Free child care is a service offered to parishioners for faith formation activities so that parents and older children can attend their age appropriate sessions without the distraction of caring for the younger children.
Our child care coordinator works hard to ensure that all volunteers are well-trained and that there are enough volunteers scheduled to keep your children in a safe environment.
Parishioners can help by requesting child care in advance and honoring the deadlines for requesting child care. This will ensure that there are enough volunteers scheduled to keep your children safe. |
The success of our child care program depends on volunteers. Child care volunteers, especially adults, are always needed! If you use the child care services, it is expected that you will volunteer for at least one faith formation activity that you are not scheduled to attend.
If you have not volunteered in our child care area before, and need information and/or training on our child care procedures, fill out this online form (also in the sub-menu under Child Care)!
Besides offering child care during faith formation activities, the child care area is used by the SSJP Playgroup each Wednesday morning for a play date, and for other various events throughout the year.

Our child care area has tons of space, and easy access to the kitchen and rest rooms! There is a separate infant room that can be closed for nap time, but with a large picture window so both areas can be easily viewed no matter which room you are in.
